Angel Investor

Coming from McGraw-Hill in 2013. What Every Angel Investor Wants You to Know: An Insider Reveals How to Get Smart Funding for Your Billion Dollar Idea gives startups everything they need to make it easy for angel investors to get to  “yes!”

The insider is Brian Cohen, Chairman of the New York Angels, serial entrepreneur, and public relations innovator.  He advocates a no-nonsense approach based on honesty, transparency, and hard work. There is nothing about the start-up route that is easy, but that doesn’t mean the raising of early-stage money should be grueling.

Not all angel investors are created equal. Within the pages of the book, Brian lays out a small number of attitudes and practices that give entrepreneurs their  best shot at securing smart money from the investors who are best positioned to propel them to the next level.

John Kador and Brian Cohen have been friends for more than 25 years. John did strategic writing for Brian’s Technology Solutions, the first high-tech public relations firm.  Over the years, they’ve searched for an opportunity to write a book together, starting and abandoning several ideas. With What Every Angel Investor Wants You to Know they finally found it.
