ABOUT
John Kador is a bestselling business author and ghostwriter on leadership, finance, entrepreneurialism, and business ethics. He’s the author or co-author of over 25 books, including What Every Angel Wants You to Know, The Manager’s Book of Questions, and Effective Apology.
As a ghostwriter, he has assisted over 15 business executives write and publish their books with mainstream publishers. He is a contributing editor for Wealth Management magazine.
His business journalism has appeared or been mentioned, in Chief Executive, Inc., The New York Times, Forbes, The Wall Street Journal, The Economist, The Chicago Tribune, and USA Today.
Raised in New York City, John received an English degree from Duke University and a Masters in Public Relations from The American University. He got his start as a science writer and honed his editorial skills as a writer for a high-tech, business-to-business advertising/marketing agency, where he rose to the position of Copy Chief.
John has been an independent business writer since 1984.
He is treasurer of the board of directors of BK Authors, a unique, not-for-profit association of authors associated with Berrett-Koehler Publishers.
He lives with his wife Anna Beth Payne near Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. He has two grown children. Dan Kador lives in San Francisco and works as Vice President of Engineering at Clockwise. Rachel Kador lives in Denmark and has her own business as an independent copywriter with a focus on digital marketing in Copenhagen. John’s hobbies include puzzles, fencing, and theater.
